Playing baseball in K.B.A. offers young, committed players a chance to develop their skills in a structured pro-active program.  The ability to experience competitive tournament baseball in different cities, playing the best teams on the best fields, with your teammates and their families will provide memories for a lifetime.

The goals of K.B.A. is to promote the sport of baseball and ensure all players develop a true understanding and love of the game.  K.B.A. is committed to the long term goals of advancing individual players to the next level, not by measuring the success of a game or season.

Are you a win at all cost program?

The Knickerbocker Baseball Academy prides itself on providing an advanced curriculum for all players and strives to be as competitive on the field as the next club. Although, we will always strive to put our team in a winning position on game day, we strongly believe in Total Team Development. Our program is about building and promoting players that will provide a winning confidence for them to compete. K.B.A will never sacrifice player development or over pitch a young player just to record a win.

How will playing time be handled?

The Instructors and Coaching staff of KBA recognize, appreciate, and expect hard work from all of their players. Being part of a competitive team is a special accomplishment for a young player and a financial commitment for all parents. Based on the principle that rewards hard work, all playing time needs to be earned. Playing time will not be equal or guaranteed as most community leagues have inning minimums. There are many lessons for a player to learn in this game both from the field and on the bench.

How does the age requirements work and when is the cutoff?

The official cutoff date is May 1st of every year.

9U player can not turn 10 yrs old before May 1st
